Carbon Footprint
Climate Neutral with TrailCred
At Tänndalen 100 Miles, we believe that nature isn’t just our backdrop – it’s the soul of the race. That’s why we’re working with TrailCred to make the event climate neutral by protecting old-growth forests in Sweden.

We will compensate for the event’s estimated carbon emissions – including transportation, logistics, and energy use – by funding the permanent protection of old-growth forest equivalent to the race’s CO2 footprint.
What does this mean?
Your participation helps protect one of Earth’s most powerful ecosystems:
- Old-growth forest stores large amounts of carbon
- It shelters endangered species and maintains biodiversity
- It plays a crucial role in slowing the climate crisis
We will publish the GPS coordinates of the forest area our race helped protect.
Let’s make this race not just an endurance challenge, but a statement –
for the climate, for the forests, and for the future.
