About the race

The race starts June 26 at 5 am just outside Ski Lodge in Tänndalen. The maximum time to complete the race is 30 hours.

The course will be officially measured to ensure the exact distance of 100 miles (161 km), and the organizers will apply for sanctioning from the Swedish Athletics Federation as well as an IAU Label. All runners will carry an individual tracker, making it easier for both support crews and spectators to follow the race.

The Course

The course takes you past the beautiful village of Fjällnäs and up towards the Swedish border, where the trees thin out and the wide-open mountain landscapes unfold. Crossing into Norway, you’ll pass Vauldalen before the road winds its way down to Brekken – roughly halfway to the turnaround point – and continues along sparkling lakes and sweeping scenery towards the historic UNESCO World Heritage town of Røros. After a short loop on the outskirts of the town, you turn back along the same route, passing Ski Lodge in Tänndalen again (with just over a marathon to go), continuing past Tänndalen village, towards Funäsdalen for a loop, before finally returning to the finish line at Ski Lodge Tänndalen.

In total, the race features about 980 meters of elevation gain – and the same in descent.

You have the possibility to leave one dropbag at Ski Lodge in Tänndalen which will be easy to access when you pass there again after 115 km of running.

Prizes:
1st place men/women: SEK 10,000
2nd place men/women: SEK 7,500
3rd place men/women: SEK 5,000

During the prize ceremony, additional prizes will be raffled among all participants who completed the race, regardless of placement.
