Tänndalen 100 miles

The course takes you past beautiful Fjällnäs and up toward the Norwegian border, where the trees thin out and the high fells open up. Across the border in Norway, Vauldalen awaits; from there the road winds down toward Brekken—about halfway to the turnaround—and then continues along glittering waters and wide-open landscapes toward the historic UNESCO World Heritage town of Røros. After a short loop on the outskirts of the town, you head back the same way, pass the Ski Lodge in Tänndalen again (with just over a marathon to go), continue toward Funäsdalen for a loop, and finally return to the finish in Hamra.
